Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the TrichoScan online analysis portal provided by Datinf GmbH.

2. Business customers only

The service is offered exclusively to companies, healthcare professionals, research institutions and other business customers acting in the course of their commercial or professional activities. Consumers are not permitted to subscribe to or use the service.

3. Service description

The portal allows business customers to upload suitable dermoscopic images for automated TrichoScan FAST analysis and to view the resulting measurements and analysis images online.

4. User account

Access to the portal may require a registered user account. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for all activity performed through their account.

5. User obligations

Users may only upload files that they are legally entitled to use and process. Users must not upload unlawful, harmful, offensive, or third-party infringing content. Users are responsible for ensuring that any personal data contained in uploaded images has been collected and uploaded lawfully.

6. Image quality and analysis results

Analysis results depend on image quality, image scale, focus, lighting, calibration, and suitability of the uploaded material. The portal may reject unsuitable files or produce limited results if the uploaded images do not meet the technical requirements.

7. Medical and scientific use

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the portal does not provide a medical diagnosis and must not be used as the sole basis for medical decisions. Results should be interpreted by qualified professionals where applicable.

8. Availability

We aim to provide reliable access to the portal. However, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, security updates, or circumstances outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Subscriptions and payments

Payments, subscriptions, taxes, invoices, and related checkout processes may be handled by Paddle as merchant of record. The terms and buyer information shown during checkout also apply to the purchase.

10. Storage and deletion of files

Uploaded files and analysis results are generally stored for a limited period only. Unless otherwise stated or agreed, uploaded images and results may be deleted after 30 days.

11. Intellectual property

The portal, software, design, text, trademarks, and related materials remain the property of Datinf GmbH or its licensors. Users retain their rights to the uploaded content, but grant us the rights necessary to process the uploaded files for providing the requested analysis.

12. Limitation of liability

We are liable in accordance with applicable law. For simple negligence, we are only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations and only for foreseeable, typical damages. Liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.

13. Changes to the service

We may update, improve, modify, or discontinue parts of the portal where this is reasonable and does not unreasonably disadvantage users. Material changes may be communicated through the portal or by email.

14. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
